The client is one of the largest specialty medical laboratories in the region, offering blood, saliva, and urine diagnostic services. Laboratory activities include handling users, clients, patients, orders, inventory, invoices, and pickups in a day. To enhance the efficiency of these processes, the laboratory adopted robust IT solutions for healthcare, ensuring streamlined workflows and improved accuracy. The client also implements a streamlined “Draw-Spin-Send" workflow, which simplifies sample handling for the client. The client wanted the process to reduce steps, improve efficiency, and allow for next-day test results with 50% less blood drawn per patient. The client wanted to move the laboratory from a fully manual system to a fully automated and cloud-based lab solution with scalability, security, and high performance. The goal was to fix problems, improve the system, and add functionality for operational development and future technological requirements. The solution had to transfer significant amounts of historical data, enhance the efficiency of processes that demand many resources, and make the system more convenient for administrators and users.
