The client was looking for a solution that facilitates them to easily conduct periodic inspections of their fleet cars. The app streamlines the inspection process, allowing the client’s employee to quickly capture and record the necessary data, and provides analytics and reporting capabilities to help the client manage his fleet cars. The Project is a Power App using the SharePoint platform to facilitate the client to easily conduct periodic inspections of their fleet cars. This app is used by client’s employees to record responses to inspection questions.

This streamlines the entire inspection process. The app is used by a client's employee to answer inspection questions regarding company cars or private cars they are driving. This mobile app also provides facility to capture multiple images against every inspection question. These inspection data is then saved into the SharePoint list. It is then further used to generate reports. Thus facilitating the client to have an insight on the number of road worthy cars and road unworthy cars. The Power BI tool provides key insight regarding compliance reporting (due inspections), exception reporting (any damages to the car, car registration expiry) etc. It also automates the flow of the “send email” alerts to employees when inspection is due. The Power Automate Flows sent email alerts to admin when inspection is due for the company car. It also sends the alert when a new private car is registered, or if any of the vehicle registration is expired, or when the next service date is expired etc.
