Overview

The client has a successful analytics platform that assists eBay users in monitoring listing performance and market trends. The platform gathers and evaluates listing data, including the number of watches, price changes, and sold-item history of various eBay marketplaces. The tool began as a free tool by resellers, collectors, and product researchers. With the rising usage and the growing number of data requests, the client required a more scalable system that could accommodate more users and ensure a high level of performance and reliability. The project aimed to make the platform a modern SaaS analytics platform that was capable of supporting the increasing traffic and data demands. The old system was out of date with a manual API integration and did not have user authentication or usage control. Motion Pexels redesigned the platform, enhanced the backend architecture, and added a subscription model. The new system offers real-time eBay insights, controlled search and export access, and a scalable structure to support future growth.

Challenge

The current platform was also old-fashioned in its interface and could not be easily used by users to find listing analytics and marketplace insights. The navigation was not user-friendly, and several key features could not be easily located, which diminished the overall user experience.

Motion Pexels redesigned the complete user interface and user experience to enhance clarity and usability. The new design enables users to find listings easily, use filters, and get detailed analytics about the number of watches sold, the trend of sold items, and pricing history.
